Does the system work anywhere in the United States? |
| |
• |
Quick Response is FCC compliant and licensed to work in any state
within the USA, as well as in Canada. |
| |
2 |
Can I program 911 into the system? |
| |
• |
Yes, you may program 911 as if it were just another number in
your call list. It is recommended, however, that if you do so, it
should be the last number in your sequence. |
| |
3 |
How can the system tell if an answering machine has answered
instead of a person? |
| |
• |
The person, who answers, presses a key on their phone. If no key
is pressed, Quick Response hangs up and goes to the next number
in the sequence. |
| |
4 |
How is the system installed? |
| |
• |
The system takes about 5 minutes to set up. There is no wiring
required. Just plug into a phone line and a power outlet, then program
your numbers in. A 9-volt battery is provided in the event of a
power outage. |
| |
5 |
What is the range of distance from the pendant to the base
unit? |
| |
• |
The specifications allow for 50 feet, which is more than enough
to cover a home that is over 3500 square feet. The pendant has been
found to reach over100 feet from the base station in many situations. |
| |
6 |
What happens in the event of a power failure? |
| |

A 9-volt battery (included) must be installed as a backup in
case of a power failure. A red light on the system indicates that
the battery is low. |
| |
7 |

| |
• |
Yes, the system comes with a 1-year warranty from date of purchase. |
